The Executive Leader is the highest level of leadership programming offered by Dobyns Patterson. This curriculum offers Classic and Customized Solutions and is designed to move leaders at a higher level of management to executives. For participants to be successful, we recommend no less than fifteen years of leadership experience prior to beginning the program. The Executive Leader curriculum is adaptable for officials in Education including Superintendents/School Board Members, Tribal Leaders, and Corporate Clients.
Change Leadership
Change leaders are able to influence and encourage others through personal advocacy, vision and drive, and to access resources to build a solid platform for organizational change.
Command Skills
Enjoys leading and willing to take unpopular stands when necessary. Encourages direct and tough debate but isn’t afraid to end and move on. These leaders are looked to for direction in times of crisis as they face adversity head on and are energized by tough challenges.
Perspective
Looks toward the broadest possible view of an issue/challenge; has broad-ranging personal and business interests and pursuits; can easily pose future scenarios; can think globally; can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future.
Political Savvy
Politically savvy leaders understand the organizational culture, each group’s roles and responsibilities, and know who the key influencers are in each area. These leaders effectively build alliances within the organization to help them achieve their objectives.
Managing Vision and Purpose
Communicates a compelling and inspired vision or sense of core purpose; makes the vision sharable by everyone; can inspire and motivate entire units or organizations.
